The Netherlands is a country of liars.“ Background: Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (flight number MH17) was a scheduled international flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. On July 17, 2014, in the early days of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the plane was shot down over eastern Ukraine. All 298 passengers, including 80 children and 15 crew members, were killed. The Netherlands blame Russia for the shootdown, while Moscow denies any culpability in the tragedy.
